The VacTrac III provides a robust and cost-effective way to confirm a minimum standard of vacuum or pressure on a metal closure. The VacTrac uses a inductive, non-contact inspection sensor that has proven to be exceptionally accurate and reliable, inspecting tens of millions of containers without compromise in environments where the closures may have moisture on the surface.
The VacTrac III offers a modern computing platform which delivers an easy-to-use system interface coupled with powerful online support when you need help. Also, the VacTrac can be purchased with an optional analytics package that provides exceptional insight into the machine’s inspection performance and the production line’s operation.
FEATURES
- Real-Time Remote Support – Integrated wireless connectivity allows for secure remote support 24/7 globally. Peco InspX can resolve over 95% of customer issues with our powerful remote diagnostics software
- Robust IT Security – Fully integrated end-to-end IT security offerings ensure your networks aren’t vulnerable and are defended from any outside threats. Optional IoT module allows for seamless SCADA integration
- No Requirement for Container Spacing – This inspection geometry does not require any container spacing between adjacent containers
- High Reliability Non-Contact Inspection – Mounts over the top of the customer’s existing conveyor, eliminating conveyor transfers into the machine for inspection. This design minimizes risk against conveyor jams over transfer points
- Vacuum Verification for Cans – The VacTrac contains several algorithms for measuring lid deflection in cans. Setting up the VacTrac takes just minutes, and you’ll get repeatable reliable inspection performance
- Pressure Verification for Pull Tab Containers – The VacTrac’s sophisticated software algorithms can compensate for the position of a pull tab during the inspection process
- Tamper Evident Band Inspection – The VacTrac can support a wide variety of external sensors to support additional product inspections, including checking for the presence of a tamper evident band
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
- Seamed Metal Containers
- Ring-Pull Containers
- Plastic & Glass Containers with Metal Lids
