The Crescendo is a dual beam side view X-ray inspection system that is specifically designed for inspecting taller rigid containers (e.g. glass jars, metal and composite cans, plastic containers and boxes) including number 10 cans.
The Crescendo’s two metal ceramic tubes deliver 1200 watts of X-ray power with the secondary X-ray tube being electronically controlled for height adjustment to allow precise inspection of the upper part of a container.
On metal cans, the Crescendo provides a clear image of the top seam.
The Crescendo also offers superior fill height measurement capability.
FEATURES
- Modular Design – All subsystems have been designed with the maximum system availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance in mind
- Fill Level Measurement – High precision fill-level and headspace monitoring
- Real-Time Remote Support – Integrated wireless connectivity allows for secure remote support 24/7 globally. Peco InspX can resolve over 95% of customer issues with our powerful remote diagnostics software
- Robust IT Security – Fully integrated end-to-end IT security offerings ensure your networks aren’t vulnerable and are defended from any outside threats. Optional IoT module allows for seamless SCADA integration
- Advanced X-ray Tube/Detector Design – High contrast X-ray tube with independent power supply allows for lowest cost of ownership. Detector hardened against wear to maximize the component lifetime
- No Requirement for Container Spacing – This inspection geometry does not require any container spacing between adjacent containers
- Dual X-ray Beams – The Crescendo offers 1200 watts of X-ray power with a vertically adjustable second tube. This design allows the Crescendo to image the largest containers without compromising inspection quality
- High Reliability Non-Contact Inspection – Mounts over the top of the customer’s existing conveyor, eliminating conveyor transfers into the machine for inspection. This design minimizes risk against conveyor jams over transfer points
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
- Large Cans
- Plastic Jugs and Pails
- Large Boxed Foods
- Glass Jars & Jugs
